Michaela is the founder of Surfsisters, loves Cape Town but is originally from Germany. She started surfing in Muizenberg in 2001. Michaela does the surf report for Milnerton on Facebook every day. She is well travelled and happy to rough it for the sake of scoring glassy fun waves.

The atmosphere of Hudhuran Fushi Resort is that of a high-end surf camp, mixed with some honeymooners and a fair amount of Chinese.
