Scarborough Point is a beautiful left that breaks over kelp. It needs a medium to large size west swell and south easterly or light north-easterly conditions. The beach break can close out in the middle but the right, on the far end of the beach is fun. |

Quite local. Some hard core guys on the point, which can get crowded on a good day. |

Not much to choose from except maybe Camel Rock which is the nearest spot for after surf refreshments. You find it at the turnoff to the beach. Rumour has it the fillet steak is very good. |

Although Scarborough can be awesome, it does not often produce the goods. 3 out of 5. |
